Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Dan Kecerdasan Sosial Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru SMP Negeri Bandar Seikijang Kabupaten Pelalawan
This study aims to analyze the effect of self-efficacy and social intelligence on teacher job satisfaction in Bandar Seikijang Middle School in Pelalawan District. This study uses a survey method with a correlation approach carried out in Bandar Seikijang State Middle School, Pelalawan District. The research sample was 42 teachers, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics.
From the results of the study found that there is an influence between self-efficacy and job satisfaction of 17.50% and there are still 82.50% influenced by other factors, the influence of social intelligence on job satisfaction is 36.90% and there are still 63.10% influenced by other factors, and the influence of self-efficacy and social intelligence together is 38.70% and there are still 61.30% influenced by other factors. Thus the results of this study prove that self-efficacy and social intelligence have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. The higher the self-efficacy and social intelligence of a person, the higher the job satisfaction will be felt, on the contrary the lower the self-efficacy and social intelligence of a person, the lower the job satisfaction they feel.
This research is expected to be useful for the improvement or improvement of teacher professional competence in implementing their obligations as educators.
