Pengaruh Optimalisasi Penggunaan Sarana Prasarana Dan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Terhadap Kesiapan Guru Menghadapi Revolusi Industri 4.0 Di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Siak
The main objective of this research was to find out the influence of the optimum use of facilities and infrastructure and the strengthening of character education on the teachers’ readiness in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at state junior high schools (SMPNs) in Siak Sub-dsitrict. Some 89 teachers were taken as the sample of the study. All teachers were asked to complete the questionnaire using the Likert Scale with five alternatives: Strongly Agree (SA), Agree (A), Undecided (U), Disagree (DA), and Strongly Disagree (SD). The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analyses.
Based on the results of the data analyses, it was discovered that there was a significant influence of the optimum use of facilities and infrastructure and the strengthening of character education on the readiness of teachers in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0. at state junior high schools (SMPNs) in Siak Sub-district either independently or collectively. The findings of the research are expected to be able to improve teachers’ readiness in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
