Implementasi Manajemen Pengolahan Air Limbah Domestik Rumah Sakit X Di Kota Pekanbaru
Pekanbaru City X Hospital is the biggest health service center in Pekanbaru City, with a bed capacity of more than 600 beds, the resulting domestic wastewater is relatively large. Thus, prevention of germs that are feared to spread must be anticipated early. Hospital alertness to the quality of wastewater that does not meet these environmental quality standards is still not monitored.
The purpose of this study are: (1). Analyzing the quality of domestic wastewater at X Hospital Pekanbaru City based on laws and regulations, namely Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 68 of 2016 concerning Domestic Wastewater Quality Standards and analyzing domestic wastewater treatment management based on Decree of the Minister of Health of Republic of Indonesia Number 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004. (2). Analyzing the implementation of the operation of the SOP of WWTP in Pekanbaru City Hospital based on the Technical Guidelines for WWTP with the Anaerobic-Aerobic Biofilter System at the Health Service Facility (RI Ministry of Health 2011). (3). Make a simple model in improving the performance of domestic wastewater treatment technology X Hospital in Pekanbaru City.
The benefits of this study are expected to provide an overview and information about the condition of hospital domestic wastewater treatment seen from the quality of domestic wastewater before and after the treatment of WWTP, so that it can be used as input for hospitals and government agencies and communities around the hospital. In addition, it can be used as a comparison material in domestic wastewater treatment, especially domestic wastewater treatment in a hospital environment.
This research was conducted from February to May 2017 located in X-Hospital, Pekanbaru city in the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) unit. The research method used is a case study with a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach. Descriptive qualitative data to answer the second and third research objectives. Quantitative data is carried out by sampling the inlet and outlet of WWTP, then testing the quality of wastewater at the Riau Provincial Health Laboratory. The quality test results obtained are then compared with the Environmental Quality Standards according to RI Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 68 of 2016 concerning Domestic Waste Water Quality Standards. Then, the results of the wastewater quality test data were carried out in t-paired tests using a statistical software program to determine the level of change in wastewater treatment between before and after WWTP treatment. The data obtained is tabulated in the form of a table, then a descriptive analysis is carried out, whether there is a significant difference after the wastewater treatment is carried out by looking at the P value.
Based on the results of the research conducted there are two parameters that do not meet environmental quality standards, namely Phosphate parameters and Total Coliform. Based on interviews conducted with informants, only the facilitation of facilities and infrastructure (Tools) management of treatment of IPAL hospitals that do not meet the standards. The operation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in the secondary treatment process and tertiary treatment (tertiary treatment) has not met the standards of the Technical Guidelines for the WWTP Anaerobic-Aerobic Biofilter System at the Health Service Facility. One way to improve the performance of WWTP is to combine several anaerobic-aerobic processing by replacing the biomedia tank with a 3-dimensional lattice RBC (Rotating Biological Contactor) reactor.
