Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Advance Organizer Untuk Meningkatkan Sikap Ilmiah Siswa Di Sma Negeri 2 Mempura Kabupaten Siak
Abstract:
Attitude is interpreted as a tendency, loneliness, willingness, someone to provide a response / response / behavior in science and meet the requirements (laws) of science that has been recognized as true. Scientific attitude is the attitude possessed by students who are involved in natural science. The scientific attitude in this study is curiosity, critical thinking, open thinking, and honest attitude. This research is a pre-experimental research that aims to describe the improvement of scientific attitudes through the application of the Advance Organizer learning model for students in SMA Negeri 2 Mempura Siak Regency in the academic year 2018/2019 with the research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques are questionnaire techniques given to research subjects. The initial scientific attitude data was taken by distributing questionnaires to research subjects before treatment, while the final scientific attitude was taken by distributing questionnaires after treatment. In filling out the questionnaire individually, the students may not ask questions or pay attention to other friends about the answers to the questionnaire. Where the initial scientific attitude, obtained an average value of 2.41 with a low category and an increase of 1.11 points in the final scientific attitude with an average value of 3.52 high category. As for the N-Gain score the scientific attitude of students on each indicator has an N-Gain score with different categories so that an average N-Gain score of 0.70 is obtained. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of the Advance Organizer learning model can improve students' scientific attitudes.
