Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 148 Pekanbaru
This study aims to analyze (1) character education planning through extracurricular scout activities at Public Elementary School 148 Pekanbaru, (2) Organizing character education through extracurricular scout activities at Public Elementary School 148 Pekanbaru, (3) Implementation of character education through extracurricular scout activities in Public Elementary School Pekanbaru, (4) Supervision of character education through extracurricular scout activities at Public Elementary School 148 Pekanbaru and (5) Constraints in the implementation of scout activities at Public Elementary School 148 Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Milles and Hubberman analysis model, based on the results of the study can be concluded that (1) Planning activities have been conaucted by holding first a meeting planning the implementation of activities and create program activities in the form of annual programs and semesters prepared by scout coach and Teachers in elementary school 148 Pekanbaru, (2) the headmaster has done organizing activities by appointing teachers who are competent and experienced in scout field to become scout leader and headmaster become a scout adviser, but scout organization structure in elementary school Negeri 148 Pekanbaru has not been well established, (3) Implementation of activities has been run in accordance with the plans and schedules that have been identified, (4) Supervision has been done by the principal and representatives and other teachers who also appointed principals as part of the scouts extracuricular activities, and (5) obstacles that researchers encounter such as low student interest, lack of scouts and lack of budget, some obstacles have been overcome such as the low interest of students by requiring all students to follow activities to know the fun of scout activities.
