Pengaruh Job Insecurity Dan Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Dan Komitmen Karyawan (Studi Pada Karyawan Pt. Bank Riau Kepri) Pekanbaru
The research held in Bank Riau Kepri. The aim is to investigate the direct and indirect influence of job insecurity and organizational culture toward commitment through job-related satisfaction as the mediating variable.
Population are 306 of fixed-term employees. Samples taken by Slovin formulation that consists of 173 selected employees. Variables used are job insecurity and organizational culture as independent, commitment as dependent and job-related satisfaction as the mediating variable. Data analyzed by using path analysis which is processed by SPSS 22 for windows.
The study reveals that directly job insecurity has no significant impact to commitment. Job-related satisfaction, however, can mediate the positive impact of job insecurity to commitment. On the other hand, organizational culture has either direct or indirect impact on commitment that mediated by job-related satisfaction. Among all, job-related satisfaction has the biggest impact to employees’ commitment compared to those of job insecurity or organizational culture. The reduction of job insecurity along with the strengthening of organizational culture are recommended in order to optimize the job-related satisfaction and employees’commitment.
