Analisis Kemampuan Menulis Pantun Siswa Kelas V SD An Namiroh Pusat Kota Pekanbaru

The background of this research is the lack of students' ability to write rhymes. This lack of ability is caused by lack of interest in writing rhymes and rhymes writing activities, another cause is the lack of students' insights about rhymes and how to express precisely in the form of rhymes. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of the fifth grade students of SD An Namiroh Pusat Kota Pekanbaru in writing poetry. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted at SD An Namiroh Pusat Kota Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study were 160 grade students. The data collection technique used is a written test technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with the scoring sheet research instrument (grading rubric). The results showed that the ability to write pantun students included in the category of very good with an average value of 96. This can be seen from the acquisition of scores on four aspects of assessment, namely: (a) aspects of the number of lines in each stanza with an average value of 100 ; (b) aspects of the number of pata syllables per line with an average value of 93; (c) taxation aspects with an average value of 95; and (d) aspects of writing rhymes based on content with an average value of 97.
