Hubungan Kemampuan Number Sense Dengan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Babussalam Pekanbaru
This research was motivated by the lack of students' mathematical problem solving ability. This research aimed to find out the correlations between the number sense and the students' mathematical problem solving ability of the fifth graders of Babussalam Primary School Pekanbaru. The number of the subject and population in this research was 73 students. The type of this research was quantitative by implementing correlational research method. The data instrument was collected by distributing a test about the number sense ability and the students' mathematical problem solving ability. The data collected were analyzed by using product moment correlation technique. The results of the research showed that there were significat correlations between the number sense ability and students' mathematical problem solving abilty of the fifth graders at Babussalam Primary School Pekanbaru with a correlation coefficient of Rny 0,634 with high interpreation category and Tcount of 6,91. According to the results of this research, it was concluded that there were significant correlations between the number sense and the students' mathematical problem solving ability of the fifth graders of Babussalam Primary School Pekanbaru.
