Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Halus Melalui Media Kardus Bekas Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Paud Al-Munawaroh Kecamatan Sinaboi Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

The background of this study is that most children show delays in their fine motor skills, especially cutting and sticking which is marked by unskilled children in cutting. Based on the background, the researcher did the improvement and optimize the fine motor ability in the child according to the level of the development of his age. The aim of this research is to know the improvement of fine motor ability through used cardboard media in children aged 5-6 years (2) to know how to apply used cardboard media to improve fine motor ability in children aged 5-6 years and ( 3) to find out how much improvement of fine motor ability through used cardboard media in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Al-Munawaroh Kecamatan Sinaboi Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. In 1 cycle there are 3 meetings. The data collection tool used in this research is in the form of observation sheet. The number of samples in this study were 15 children consisting of 6 boys and 9 girls. Based on the recapitulation of fine motor skills through the former cardboard media of children aged 5-6 years before the action, cycle I and cycle II, obtained a value on the average before the implementation of action that is 45.56% with the criteria start developing (MB), the average value on Cycle I of 59.63% with criteria evolving as expected (BSH). Due to the average value in cycle I is still low and categorized to grow as expected (BSH), then the researchers continue the second cycle. In cycle II the average value obtained is 83.70% with very good developing criteria (BSB). The use of used cardboard media in the learning action in cycle I and cycle II can improve the fine motor skills of children in PAUD Al-Munawaroh Kecamatan Sinaboi Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. The application of used cardboard media is maximal (Good) done by the teacher through the improvement of learning device used in cycle I and cycle II so that there is improvement of fine motor ability in children. The increase of fine motor ability of children from prasiklus to cycle I of 21,73% from cycle I to cycle II increased by 47,99% and from pre cycle to cycle II equal to 80,13%.
