Penerapan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Maritim Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif Siswa Smp Pada Materi Pesawat Sederhana Di Kecamatan Sungai Apit
The process of learning physics in schools does not involve students directly so students are less active and creative which causes low cognitive learning outcomes of students, in this case it needs to be assisted with a creative learning media that can improve student learning outcomes, namely maritime-based media. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Data collection instruments using tests of student cognitive learning outcomes consisting of pretest and posttest, analyzed using descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis results obtained an average gain value of the experimental class 0.28 and 0.15 control class gain value shows that the increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class is greater than the control class. Show that the experimental class applying maritime-based learning media has a greater improvement than the conventional control class.
