Hubungan Tinggi Badan, Umur Dan Berat Badan Dengan Panjang Femur Pada Mahasiswa Universitas Riau
Cases of femoral shaft fractures are common cases in adults after experiencing high-energy trauma. Intramedullary (IM) nail is an option used to fix femoral shaft fracture. The length of nail must be same as length of femur and length of nail can be measured based on x-ray on normal contralateral side bone or an intraoperative clinical examination. Bilateral femoral fractures will be an obstacle in determining length of nail. This case happening in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analyze Corelation of body Height, Age and Body Weight to Length of Femur at Student University of Riau. The design of this study was observational analytic with cross sectional approach. Research respondents numbered are 234 respondents. The average age of respondent is 22 years, with a minimum and maximum age of 21 and 25 years. The ethnic groups obtained were 37.2% (87) Riau Malay tribes and 62.8% (147) Riau non-Malays. P value
