Intensitas Serangan Hama Dan Penyakit Tanaman Gaharu (Aquilaria Malaccensis) Pada Lahanagroforestri Di Desa Makmur Kabupaten Pelalawan
Conversion of forest functions into agricultural land creates many problems, such as
declining soil fertility, erosion, flora and fauna extinction, flooding, drought and even
global environmental changes. Agroforestry is a land management system that can be
implemented to fix this. Agroforestry is an agricultural production system that combines
agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry crops. Makmur Village, Pangkalan Kerinci
Subdistrict, which provides agroforestry system using Aquilaria malaccensis. Aquilaria
malaccensis is a plant with a high potential. Plant growth due to a variety of factors,
including pests and diseases. Pest and disease attacks affect the level of plant
maintenance monitoring, as it is carried out with an established purpose and the intensity
of pest and disease attacks occurring in agroforestry land. This research conducted for
three months from October-December 2019 in the Aquilaria malaccensis agroforestry
area. This research is located in Hangtuah 7 Street, Makmur Village, Pangkalan Kerinci
District, Pelalawan Regency. This Research using survey methods and determination of
the measured parameters Looking at the percentage of attack intensity of pests and
diseases, the difference is that in the location of one with a percentage of 15.8% while in
the second location with a percentage of attacks is 31.5%. Based on the results of the
research conducted above, it is recommended that when building Aquilaria malaccensis
agroforestry land it should not be too tight, so that plant maintenance can be maintained
and not prone to pests and diseases
