Perencanaan Sistem Penyediaan Air Minum Di Kecamatan Langgam, Kabupaten Pelalawan
The fulfillment of drinking water needs in Langgam Subdistrict, Pelalawan
Regency comes from packaged water by 29%, drilled wells by 0.125%, piping by
32%, river water by 19%, springs by 11.7% and rainwater by 11.8%, where the
quality and quantity of these sources are not guaranteed. In 2009 to 2018 with an
increase in population by 66.14%, the need for drinking water is 64.09 liters /
second and will reach 126 liters / second by 2038, so it is necessary to plan a
drinking water supply system for the next 20 years with raw water. originating
from the Kampar River. The planned units of the plan are intake, presedimentation,
coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration and
disinfection. This plan is also equipped with supporting buildings, such as a
chemical dumping building, an air tower, a sludge treatment unit and an office
building. Planning a drinking water distribution piping system assisted by using
the EPANET 2.0 software. With this software, it can simulate the air distribution
network to meet the planned criteria in the form of speed, headloss, and pressure
at points along the pipe so that the community's clean water needs can be met.
The budget required for this drinking water production unit is Rp.
174,139,731,000.00.
