Strategi Komunikasi Politik Kemenangan Syamsuar-Edi Natar Nasution Sebagai Gubernur Dan Wakil Gubernur Provinsi Riau Pada Pilkada Serentak Tahun 2018
Communication is the most important part of human life, in which political communication is also formulated as a process of removing symbols or symbols that contain political messages from one person or group to another with the aim of opening insights or ways of thinking and influencing Attitudes or behavior of audiences who become political targets. Like one of the political activities, the simultaneous regional elections in 2018 were attended by 4 (four) Riau governor and deputy governor pairs, which in this case were won by Drs Syamsuar and Edi Natar Nasution. The victory that was achieved was able to gain the most votes in 9 out of 12 districts / cities, and the pair can be said to be minimal / almost without a campaign, because the campaign carried out only brought together a number of religious organizations which made the public almost unaware of the pair's campaign. This couple doesn't use money politics, dil See from the many supporters and volunteers who spent personal funds to carry out this pair's campaign. This pair is more active in engaging with the community directly, which makes the strategy developed by pair number 1 really work. This research uses descriptive research method. The data sources used were observation and interviews and data obtained from several research locations. The data will be analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The theoretical basis used is the theory of Source, Message, Channel, Receiver (SMCR).
Based on the data analysis carried out, it was concluded that the political communication strategy carried out by the Syamsuar-Edi Natar Nasution pair must maximize several things, namely the ability to gain public sympathy, the togetherness of the campaign team and the supporting parties, use more external media, and support between teams. success with one another.
