Upaya Peningkatan Produktivitas Getah Pinus (Pinus Merkusii) Menggunakan Stimulansia Ekstrak Lengkuas (Alpinia Galanga) Dan Jahe (Zingiber Officinale)
ABSTRACT
Alternative use of stimulants from natural ingredients that are safe, relatively
inexpensive, and easy to obtain, such as galangal (Alpinia galanga) and ginger
(Zingiber officinale). This research was conducted to determine the effect of
stimulant administration of galangal and ginger extracts on increasing the
productivity of pine sap. This research was conducted in Andiang, Suliki District,
West Sumatra in June-July 2020. The data collection methods used in this study
were primary data and secondary data. This study used a completely randomized
design method consisting of five treatments and four replications so that it used 20
sample trees. The treatments in this study included 100% galangal, 50% galangal,
100% ginger, 50% ginger and control. The parameters measured in this study
were productivity and quality of pine sap. Productivity data analysis was analyzed
by means of variance using SPSS 20.0. Furthermore, if the results of variance
have a significant effect, further analysis will be carried out using the Duncan's
New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the 5% level. For testing the quality of
pine resin, the standard guidelines used are SNI 7837: 2016.
Pine trees that used 50% ginger stimulant produced the highest sap
production, namely 11.15 g / quarre / day. The best quality of sap was produced
by the stimulant of ginger while the pine tree which used the stimulant of galangal
produced the second quality based on SNI 7837: 2016.
