Komunikasi Pasangan Ta’aruf (Studi Fenomenologi Komunikasi Pada Kader Partai Keadilan Sejahtera Dewan Perwakilan Wilayah Provinsi Riau)

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of marriage by means of ta'aruf, not by dating. Among them are the cadres of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) of the Riau Province Regional Representative Council who use the Ta'aruf process as a pathway to marriage. The purpose of this study was to see how the communication between ta'aruf pairs when viewed from the motives, meanings and experiences of Ta'aruf communication for the cadres of Partai Keadilan Sejahtera representative council of Riau.
This study uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were three PKS DPW Riau cadre pairs who used Ta'aruf as a path to a legal level of marriage both religiously and state. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and interviews with informants.
The results of this study found that the motives are Islamic law, vision of marriage, tranquility, murobbi and openness of information, while the meaning is a way to achieve the pleasure of Allah SWT and the experience of communication is pleasant and unpleasant.
