Komunikasi Kelompok Komunitas Kracker Chapter Pekanbaru Dalam Mempertahankan Kohesivitas Di Era Adaptasi Baru

The Kracker Chapter Pekanbaru community is a supermoto community
that has an interest in and love for supermoto, especially trackers and is a place
to channel hobbies. In the midst of the corona pandemic that has hit the world,
people adapt, especially to interact and communicate. Likewise, the Kracker
Chapter Pekanbaru community adapts in interacting and communicating within
the community to strengthen brotherhood and maintain community cohesiveness
and existence. This study aims to determine the messages exchanged, interactions
and communication networks as well as the factors that influence the effectiveness
of community communication in the Kracker Chapter Pekanbaru.
Qualitative research method with symbolic interaction approach. The
selection of informants uses a purposive technique, which selects eleven selected
informants, namely a chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, two division
administrators and five members of the Kracker Chapter Pekanbaru community.
Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. For
data analysis techniques, refer to Miles and Huberman's interactive model. To
check the validity of the data, the participation extension technique and
triangulation were used.
The results of this study indicate that the activities of exchanging messages
in the Pekanbaru Chapter Kracker community consist of verbal messages and
non-verbal messages where the exchange of verbal messages includes activity
coordination, sharing, laughter, and the terms used. while the non-verbal
messages that are exchanged include hand, foot and horn codes, motorcycle
modifications and the addition of accessories, the meaning of logos and barcodes.
The Pekanbaru Chapter Kracker Community interacts both virtually and face-toface
communication that can occur to anyone, anytime and anywhere without
being bound by a formal structure, communication occurs in two directions, the
communication network is in the form of a pattern of all channels. Collaboration
that occurs in the community dominates, uses norms that develop in the
community and unwritten rules in groups, chooses and creates a comfortable
place and obeys health protocols, there are no special rules in choosing a seating
position and humor applies in groups and can happen anywhere and anytime.
From the messages exchanged in the community, interaction and communication
network patterns, as well as the factors that influence the effectiveness of this
communication, cohesiveness is formed in the Kracker Chapter Pekanbaru
community so that it makes this community solid, belonging to, and maintaining
one another.
