Strategi Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah Riau Dalam Mewujudkan Penyiaran Sehat Berbasis Literasi Media Di Provinsi Riau

The Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission in carrying out the mandate of Law No. 32 of 2002 has a vision and mission including a Healthy, Fair and Quality Broadcasting System in Riau Province. One of the Riau KPID strategies in realizing healthy, fair and quality broadcasts is to hold media literacy activities. This research was conducted at the Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission of Riau Province. There are five things that are the focus of this research, namely planning, organizing, implementing monitoring and evaluation carried out by KPID Riau Province in media literacy activities. The aim is to find out the strategy of the Riau Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission in Realizing Healthy Broadcasting Based on Media Literacy in Riau Province.
This study took 4 informants. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result of this research is that the researcher concludes that the media literacy activities carried out by the Riau Province KPID to communities in the regencies and cities of Riau Province are using the management function. it is characterized by four components, namely planning, organizing, implementing and controlling. In every activity, KPID Riau will always use the management function so that every activity carried out can be evaluated accurately.
