Etnisitas Dalam Kontestasi Pemilihan Kepala Desa Danau Lancang Kecamatan Tapung Hulu Kabupaten Kampar Tahun 2017
This research aims to explain the politics of ethnicity in Pilkades Danau
Lancang encouraging the political elite to influence the community through the
use of ethnic and cultural attributes. Ethnic attributes became the intrusion of a
campaign that raised tensions in the implementation of The Sasng Lake Pilkades.
The annexation of the political forces of the Batak, Malay and Javanese tribes had
an impact on the division of interests, but in particular the political decisions of
the three major tribes in Lake Lancang were made in different forms, the Bataks
gave freedom to their group to establish support even though in the batak
tradition there is a Dalihan Na Tolu principle. In Javanese society, political
decisions are based on the rembug of Javanese citizens who assign support to the
Azirman pair called representing the philosophy of Javanese leadership. While in
Malays, the direction of support is precisely split which has an impact on the lack
of political position of malays in Lake Lancang.
Ethnicity becomes a form of identity of the lancang lake community group
has various forms of local values that will form togetherness and collectivity.
Batak ethnicity is a group of people who have a political pattern of enforcing
culture using the principle of Dalihan Na Tolu, but in the political tradition of the
Batak people of Lake Lancang, the symbol of the installation of ulos to certain
people shows the moderate attitude of the Batak people in politics. The long-term
relationship between Azirman and the Batak elders was also able to divert some
of the support of the Batak people of Lake Lancang. While the use of javanese
ethnic attributes is not very conspicuous. The Javanese people of Lake Lancang
tend to take a "safe" position by setting options on Azirman.
There are two political conflicts in the Lancang Lake political
contestation, the first a primordial political conflict rooted in the use of ethnic
symbols and both political conflicts arising from ethnic partitions.
