ABSTRACT
Forest are essentially an ecolgical system in the life support system of living things, including those that support human life. Agroforestry system always have ecological and economi interactions between their components, while the retically every agroforestry system has an important goal, namely productivity. This study aims to determine plant species and farmers’ opinions on the selection of plant species developed in mixed agroforestry to determine the contribution of mixed garden agroforestry in increasing community income. The data collection technique was carried out in two stages, namely interviews and making plots. Dominant plant species planted by the community in an agroforestry system with a mixed garden pattern are Durio xibethinus, Aquilaria malaccensis, Spondias pinnata and Zea mays.The selection of this species is due to the high economic value and the harvest time that can be taken into account by the community so that the community so that can harvest at any time. The result showed so that the contribution of mixed garden agroforestry in Ridan Permai village was Rp. 737,381,000.00 per year with an average per household of Rp. 21,068,029.00 per year or 33,01% of the total household income.
