ABSTRACT
Macaca fascicularis are found in various environments around swap forest and
secondary forests. Macaca fascicularis are scattered in almost every altitude of
the location covering various types of ecosystems. The purpose of this study was
to determine the distribution of Macaca fascicularis in the community garden
around the Bukit Rimbang Baling Wildlife Reserve Singingi Hilir Subdistrict
Kuantan Singingi District. The method used is the concentrarion count method
and exploration. The Macaca fascicularis population around the Bukit Rimbang
Bukit Baling Wildlife Reserve has 6 groups with a total of 110 individuals. The
total number of Macaca fascicularis around the Bukit Rimbang Bukit Baling
Wildlife Reserve is estimated to be 131 individuals with a habitat potential of 8.77
ha and a population density is 36.6 individuals/km2.
