Komunikasi Instruksional Guru Dalam Kegiatan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di Smpn 2 Pusako Di Kabupaten Siak
Distance learning in SMPN 2 Pusako State Junior High School is a learning policies during the Covid-19 pandemic they are carried out online and offline. Fostering junior high school students in a school located in the countryside isn't it an easy matter, because students need guidance and attention in online learning using media learning and still complying with health protocols when studying offline. So therefore, teachers use instructional communication in order to change student behavior while studying during a pandemic. The purpose of this research is to find out credibility of teachers in SMPN 2 Pusako, the learning method used, the learning media used and communication barriers that occur during distance learning at SMPN 2 Pusako. This study uses qualitative research methods. The subjects in the research were teachers, students, and students guardian of SMPN 2 Pusako who were selected using a purposive technique. The data collection technique consists of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques using interactive analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The data validity techniques in this research is the extension of the data participation and triangulation. The results showed that the credibility of the communicators in SMPN 2 Pusako is doing well which can be explained from the expertise of the teacher who actively participates training in online and offline distance learning throughout Siak Districts and receive technical guidance to master the use of online learning media technology and trust they get from students, schools and guardians student. Method Instructional used by teachers in distance learning are divided into online learning methods (lectures, assignment and collection of assignments, ask question and answer and evaluation) and offline learning methods (lectures, discussions, exercises, questions and answers and assessments). The learning media in the form of online audio media (voice messages on WhatsApp) while offline does not use audio media, visual media online using (LKPD, books, whiteboards, projectors), as well as online audiovisual media (zoom, google meet, youtube disdikbud siak bedelau), offline used (projectors). Instructional communication barriers in distance learning include barriers to sources, namely nonverbal communication online is difficult to do, misunderstanding of meaning, barriers to the channels namely the difficulty of accessing in the internet connection and hot room conditions, and barriers to the communicant, namely the absorption and comprehension of different students, and as well as students unfocused learning. The result of this research can become a reference material for SMPN 2 Pusako to develop more interesting and varied learning in the future.
