Komunikasi Persuasif Komunitas Musaz Dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Muslimah Pekanbaru Untuk Menyadari Adanya Tanda-Tanda Akhir Zaman. ( Kasus Pada Anggota Dan Volunter Musaz Di Pekanbaru)
Muslimah (Muslim women) who are less concerned with the events of the
end times will not be aware of its signs, because for them it is not realistic and not
the time. Most of them assume the calamity of the end times as a barrier to
progress. Whereas been many signs that seemed to serve as a warning that
humans always prepare for death. Then, with MUSAZ community (community of
Muslim women who are aware of the end times), it aims to create successful
Muslimah in the world and the hereafter, to protect Muslim women who are
determined to Hijrah and prepare themselves for the end of time. In carrying out
its vision and mission, the MUSAZ community used persuasive communication to
Muslimah to increase their awareness and prepared themselves both physically
and spiritually. This study aims to determine the credibility of persuaders,
persuasive messages, channels, methods, and effects resulting from persuasive
communication by the MUSAZ community in increasing the Muslimah's
awareness to be aware of the signs of the end-times.
This study used qualitative research methods. To collect the data, the
researcher used a purposive technique sampling and the information gathered
from a founder, administrator of MUSAZ community, volunteers, and active
congregations. The data was collected through unstructured interviews,
participant observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the technique of data
analysis used the interactive data model of Miles and Huberman by validating the
data using the techniques of participation extension and triangulation.
The results show that the MUSAZ community has the credibility of the first
persuader expertise (expertness); has a religious education background and holds
an LC degree (Cairo Graduate). And the second is trustworthy (trustworthiness);
the persuader adds religious knowledge and behaves well by delivering
persuasive messages that refer to the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. The messages were
composed of verbal and nonverbal messages. The verbal message is consists of
clarity, straightforwardness and accuracy, and conveyed in persuasively so that it
is easily understood by the persuadee. For nonverbal messages, persuaders
conveyed the message in a captivating, and not boring, and always eager to raise
awareness of the signs of the end times. Persuader also uses Da'wah attributes
such as banners, scraps, and the others. The communication channels used are
personal channels and non-personal channels. In personal channels, it is through
regular studies, tabliq akbar, outbound, seminars, and personal approaches.
While in non-personal channels such as Instagram, Facebook fan page, youtube
channel, and WhatsApp group. There are four persuasive communication methods
used; participation, persuasion, repetition (repetition), and information and
education. The effect of persuasive communication is the effect of cognition,
affection, and conation.
