Efektivitas Iklan Online Akun Instagram @Mitrahotelpku Sebagai Media Promosi Perhotelan Di Kota Pekanbaru
This development in the use of social media can help business actors to be
able to market their products or services effectively and efficiently, as well as to
be able to maintain good relations with their loyal customers. Currently, the
social media with a lot of endorsement promotions is Instagram accounts. One of
the Instagram accounts that promote advertisements about hotels in Pekanbaru
City is @mitrahotelpku. Researchers want the effectiveness of online
advertisements installed on the @mitrahotelpku instagram account as a
promotional medium whether it affects the number of visitors or not.
This study uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative
approach. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 395
respondents who follow Instagram @mitrahotelpku. Data analysis using AIDA
method (attention, interest, desire and action).
The results of the research conducted, the indicators studied showed that
the effectiveness of advertising was at 81-100% which showed excellent results, in
this case it can be seen that online advertising for the @mitrahotelpku Instagram
account is effective as a medium for promotion of hotel in Pekanbaru City. There
is the highest positive correlation between the indicators of attention, interest,
desire, and follower action on Instagram @mitrahotelpku in persuading
customers to have products with advertisements, so that consumers begin to have
a desire to buy the products offered. The thing that drives consumers to this stage
is when we can expect consumers that our products can best meet their needs and
can provide the added value needed.
