Peran Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) Dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (Studi Di Desa Bagan Tujuh Kecamatan Kunto Darussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hulu)

The background of this research is that in 2019 and 2020 the number of
levels of pre-prosperous families in Bagan Tujuh Village there is a decrease in the
level of underprivileged families. The village government has created a Village
Owned Enterprise (BUMDesa Permata Jaya) which aims to increase the village's
original income and also prosper the community, this cannot be separated from
the role of BUMDes in community empowerment in Bagan Tujuh Village. Where
Bagan Tujuh BUMDes are actively involved in community empowerment, Bagan
Tujuh BUMDes can create jobs for the community in these BUMDesa business
activities, and only Bagan Tujuh BUMDes are awarded the best BUMDes in
Kunto Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency.
The research approach used is a qualitative approach. While the type of
research used is descriptive. Data were collected by the authors using interview
and documentation techniques. The data used are primary data obtained from
research informants and further supported by secondary data obtained from
various parties related to this research.
The results of this study can be concluded that the role of Village Owned
Enterprises (BUMDesa) in Community Empowerment in Bagan Tujuh Village,
Kunto Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency has been running quite well,
and is quite able to overcome the poor in meeting their daily needs. For more
details, the conclusions are presented by the author in several main approaches to
Community Empowerment according to Sumodiningrat which are the benchmarks
in writing, including the following: 1) The effort must be directed: the efforts of
BUMDes in Permata Jaya are to hold socialization aimed at making the people of
Bagan Tujuh Village know that BUMDes Permata Jaya is a government program
whose job it is to prosper the community and assist in the development of Bagan
Tujuh Village. 2) Implemented by the target community: this effort has succeeded
in having a positive impact on the community of Bagan Tujuh Village. 3) Through
a group approach: in this effort, Permata Jaya BUMDes has collaborated with
farming communities to develop villages and improve the economy of Bagan
Tujuh Village. The cooperation of BUMDes in Permata Jaya with the people of
Bagan Tujuh Village has had many positive impacts on the community's economy.
