The Pekanbaru Forestry Education and Training Center is one of the Technical Implementation
Units (UPT) of the Forestry Education and Training Center at the Ministry of Forestry which
has the main task and function in the implementation of forestry education and training.
Management and archiving of letters at the Pekanbaru Environmental and Forestry Education
and Training Center, both incoming and outgoing letters, are currently still being done manually
or recorded in journals which include ledgers and booklets. This creates problems in searching
for incoming and outgoing mail to find out the status of the incoming mail. The aim of this
research is to build a Web-Based Correspondence Administration System that can facilitate the
process of data management and archiving incoming and outgoing mail. By using a web-based
system, the search for letters is easier and more structured. Making this information system
using the programming language HTML, PHP and MySQL as the database. While in the design
using UML (Unified modeling language). This system makes it easier for the leadership of the
training center to view data on incoming and outgoing mail reports. This system also makes it
easier for the administrative staff of the Training and Education Center to manage and archive
incoming, outgoing, incoming and outgoing certificates.
