Identifikasi Jenis-Jenis Anggrek (Orchidaceae) Di Cagar Alam Bukit Bungkuk Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
Natural orchids are currently in an almost extinct condition due to the
destruction of forest ecosystems today. Natural orchids are orchids that have not
undergone crossbreeding that are still living naturally in their natural habitat,
namely forests that have moisture, light intensity and soil conditions that are in
accordance with the conditions for growing orchids. The purpose of this study was
to determine the types and habitat characteristics of orchids (Orchidaceae) in the
Bukit Bungkuk Nature Reserve, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The research
method used is through direct field observation using the path method. Results of
research have shown that the number of species of orchids found in the Bukit
Bungkuk Nature Reserve many as 11 species. The species diversity index (H') of
orchids is moderate with a value of 2.19 and a population density of 13.5 individuals
per hectare. The characteristics of the orchid habitat in the Bukit Humpback Nature
Reserve include lowland tropical forests with hilly terrain that have an altitude
between 50-550 meters above sea level. The average air temperature is 26.8 and the
humidity is 84.9%, the type of soil is sandy loam with a pH of 4.6 which is classified
as acidic.
