Kontribusi Supervisi Akademik Dan Efikasi Diri Terhadap Etos Kerja Guru SMP, Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir
This research is motivated by several phenomena of decreased self-efficacy,
low self-efficacy will assume that they are less able to do everything around them,
easy to give up. Causes a low work ethic do not like to work hard, and likes to
waste time during working hours. There are still teachers who have just entered
the class after a while the class rang. Some teachers consider teaching is routine
so that the learning methods provided are not varied and boring. In dealing with
students it is not easy to organize them, and this has become a lot of complaints,
and there are also many teachers who complain because it is difficult to create an
atmosphere of fun and exciting teaching and learning activities. This is because
teachers are less able to master and adapt to the ongoing teaching and learning
process.
The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze whether there was a
positive and significant contribution between academic supervision and selfefficacy
on the work ethic of teachers at SMP Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan
Hilir.
This research is quantitative with the type of explanatory research. namely
research that must be carried out an explanation of the relationship, influence, or
the existence of a causal relationship in the nature of a causal relationship
between the independent and dependent variables on the object to be studied.
using descriptive statistical methods and inferential statistical methods, in
collecting data the researchers used general descriptions and conclusions using
numbers and presentations and focused on the influence of independent variables
on the dependent variable.
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) There is a
significant and positive contribution between the variables of academic
supervision on the work ethic of middle school teachers in Bagan Sinembah
District, Rokan Hilir, with a low interpretation. (2) A significant and positive
contribution was found between self-efficacy on the work ethic of SMP teachers in
Bagan Sinembah Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir, with a low interpretation. (3) A
significant and positive contribution was found between the variables of academic
supervision and self-efficacy on the work ethic of the subdistrict junior high
school teacher. Sinembah chart, Rokan Hilir, with a low interpretation, because
there are still 40.00% determined by factors outside the variables studied.
