Implementasi Manajemen Bandwidth Dengan Menggunakan Metode Hierarchical Token Bucket (Htb) Pada Fitur Simple Queue Dan Pemblokiran Situs Pada Smpn 1 Kampa

ABSTRACT
SMPN 1 Kampa is one of the junior high schools in Kampar Regency, which every
day carries out the process of teaching and learning activities as well as the process
of Input and Output of national data using the Internet. The Background of this
research is that a good Bandwidth Management system has not been implemented
so that Users get Bandwidth distribution according to their respective needs, then
both teachers and students often access social media sites that are not related to
teaching and learning activities. Therefore, the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB)
Method is applied using the Simple Queue feature so that Users get the Bandwidth
distribution as needed, while Site Blocking is carried out on the Layer 7 Protocol
feature in Mikrotik. Testing using Mikrotik Devices and Winbox Software as
configuration. The result of the research test shows that Bandwidth Management
using the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) Method on the Simple Queue feature
provides Bandwidth distribution results according to needs and Users cannot
access social media sites on the basis of Site Blocking that has been done, and well
network quality analysis using the parameters in the Quality of Service (QoS)
Method with Wireshark Software.
