Currently, there are still many problems related to illegal investments, but it is not uncommon to find illegal investments or what we usually call fraudulent investments in society. Several factors that have led to the popularity of fake investments include the low level of public knowledge, people are easily tempted by big profits and do not have to bother trying, the community's economic conditions are quite difficult, which encourages people to look for other incomes, many people insist on investing. This study aims to determine the effect of Income, Risks and Benefits of Investment on Illegal Online Trading Investment Interest in Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods of correlation type. The population in this study were undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University class of 2016 who played illegal online trading investments, namely 41 people. The sampling technique is saturated sample. So the sample in this study were 41 respondents. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used is Multiple Linear Regression with processing using SPSS Version. 25.00. The results of this study indicate that partially and simultaneously the variables of Income, Risks and Investment Benefits have a positive effect on Illegal Online Trading Investment Interest in Students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Riau.
