Potensi Dan Pemanfaatan Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu Di Hutan Adat Imbo Putui Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
This study aims to identify the type and amount of NTFP potential and to
identify NTFPs that are utilized by the community around the Imbo Putui Indigenous
Forest in Petapatahan Village, Kampar District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province.
Methods in collecting data in this study are observation, interviews and literature
study. Sampling of respondents in this study using purposive sampling method. The
source of data used in this research is primary data which is obtained directly in the
form of the type and amount of vegetation that has the potential to produce NTFPs
and the utilization that has been carried out by the community around the forest,
while secondary data is in the form of. The results that have been obtained were
analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method approach. Observations made in the
Imbo Putui Customary Forest area found 19 types of NTFPs with different levels of
dominance, NTFPs with the highest level of dominance were taro which had an INP
value of 34.0%, while the lowest dominance was frankincense with an INP value of
1.0%. Meanwhile, interviews conducted with local communities found that of the 19
types of NTFPs in the forest there were 13 species that had been used by the
community, which were grouped into types of fruits, medicines, resins, rattan and
other NTFPs.
