Analisis Pengaruh Working Pressure Roll Press Terhadap Efisiensi Twin Roll Press #1 Dan #2 Bleaching Fiberline #1
ABSTRACT
The washing stage is a stage carried out in the pulp manufacturing industry to
separate the cooked pulp from the black liquor content originating from the cooking
stage in the digester. Before entering the pulp bleaching stage, the pulp will first be
cleaned using a twin roll press to produce good quality pulp, with a press output
consistency of 30 – 32% and low soda loss press output in the range < 5 kg/ton.
filtrate. In order to produce good quality pulp, an efficient twin roll press is needed
using working pressure torque which is controlled and maintained at a number
ranging from 145 – 155 bar. The results of the correlation value between the
working pressure torque on the efficiency of the twin roll press 1 and 2 respectively
are 0.9161 and 0.9025 which shows a very strong relationship between the two
variables. In addition, the results of the correlation values obtained between the
efficiency of the twin roll press on the consistency of the press output, and the soda
loss of the press output respectively are 0.9032 and 0.9093 for press #1 and 0.9721
and 0.9772 for press #2 which also shows a strong relationship between variables.
We can see that the influence of the twin roll press parameter, namely the working
pressure torque, greatly influences the efficiency value of the twin roll press to
produce quality pulp, to obtain quality pulp with a press output consistency of 30 –
32% and low soda loss press output at range below 5 kg/ton filtrate.
