Identifikasi Jenis Dan Kelimpahan Limbah Padat Di Kawasan Pulau Cingkuak Kota Painan Provinsi Sumatera Barat

ABSTRACT This research was carried out in February–March 2023, by taking samples from Cingkuak Island, Painan City, West Sumatra Province. The aim of the research is to identify the type and abundance of solid waste on Cingkuak Painan Island. The method used is survey method. Samples of solid at different times before weekend (Thursday and Friday), the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), and after the weekend (Monday and Tuesday). The process of data collection is done by determining the research area within 100 m. Then the area was divided into lengths of 20 m each, so that there were 5 transects with a size of 5 x 5 per plot. All solid wastes contained in the plot was taken and put in a trash bags. Characterized the type of solid waste and calculated at. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the highest abundance of solid waste was obtained at the time of the weekend (13.48 units), then at the time before the weekend (13.48 units), and lastly at the time after the weekend (11.04 units). activitied to especially those related to the tourist.
