Analisis Pemilihan Moda Transportasi Umum Dengan Metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (Ahp) Dan Metode Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Realite (Electre)(Studi Kasus: Rute Pekanbaru – Medan)

ABSTRACT

There are several public transportation alternatives available for travelers on the Pekanbaru - Medan route, namely buses, travel, and airplanes. This study identifies alternative modes that tend to be use in each service standard or criteria. Furthermore, it becomes the first step in improving service standards and public transportation modes. The criteria considered are fare, travel time, convenience, safety, and comfort. The methods used in this research are the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Realite (ELECTRE). Analysis using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method shows the results of the comfort criteria as the mains service standard in choosing a mode of transportation with a weight of 0.2954. Alternative modes that are prioritizing in each criterion, namely (a) fare (bus; 0.570); (b) travel time (airplane; 0.721); (c) convenience (airplane; 0.421); (d) safety (airplane; 0.549); and (e) comfort (airplane; 0.562). Meanwhile, the global level off alternative modes using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Realite (ELECTRE) methods show the same results. With the AHP method, the mode selection is obtain, namely airplanes (49.7%), buses (30%), and travel (20.3%). Likewise, with the ELECTRE method, the mode selection is obtained, namely airplanes (51.7%), buses (33.1%), and travel (15.2%).
