Analisis Penambahan Capacitor Bank Pada Bus Beban (PQ) Berdasarkan Aliran Daya Dengan Memodifikasi Tipe Bus
This research analyzes the calculation of capacitor bank values to repair the voltage drop that occurs on the TG5-6 3.3kV bus at PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper of 0.06pu. The voltage drop standard that is set is 0.05 pu or 5% (ANSI C84.1-1995). The analysis is carried out based on power flow by modifying the bus load type (PQ) to become the controller bus voltage (PV). Assuming that the bus load is as if it has a generator in the form of a reactive power generator. This bus type modification method calculates the reactive power value on the modified bus type, so that the reactive power value obtained is used as the value of the capacitor bank to be installed. In this research, 3 tests were carried out with the assumption that the voltage increase on bus 38 reached 0.96 pu, 0.98 pu, and 1 pu. Based on the calculation results of the reactive power generated on bus 38, for the first assumption the reactive value is 1.5213 Mvar, for the second assumption the reactive power value is 5.2527 Mvar and for the last assumption the reactive power is 7.2525 Mvar. From these results, testing was carried out using Power World Simulator Software. For the first test, the target voltage was not reached, 0.96 pu, but only reached 0.95 pu. Meanwhile, for testing 0.98 and 1 pu were achieved according to calculations.
