Penerapan Model Blended Learning Tipe Station Rotation pada Materi Getaran Gelombang dan Bunyi terhadap Minat Belajar dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMP
Technology cannot be separated from the times. The rapid development of technology in the current era of globalization has affected the world of education. The world of education is required to improve the quality learning process collaborated with technology that can be utilized. “Media in learning has a function as a tool to clarify the message conveyed by the teacher”. Through this explanation, it is increasingly understood that in the implementation of learning, media is also one of the success factors.
This study aims to apply the Blended Learning model of Station Rotation type in increasing students' interest in learning and learning outcomes on Vibration, Wave and Sound material for class VIII junior high school. This study used quasi experiment research and Post-test Only Control Group Design.
The preparation stage is to analyze the problem and then determine the research theme. After that, determining the place and sample of research where the research was carried out at SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru and the samples were class VIII-3 and VIII-4. Then the preparation and validation of several research instruments, such as: learning interest questionnaire, lesson plans, LKPD and Learning Outcome Tests.
In the implementation stage, the experimental class applied the Station Rotation type Blended Learning model and the control class applied the conventional learning model (Discovery Learning). Where at the last meeting, each class was given a post- test and a learning interest questionnaire.
The final stage is to collect data and analyze the data. Where significant differences in student interest and learning outcomes were obtained in the experimental and control classes. Based on the inferential test, it is known that for learning interest, a significance of 0.000 is obtained and for learning outcomes, a significance of 0.000 is obtained, where P < 0.05 where Ho is rejected, which means that the use of the Station Rotation type Blended Learning model can increase student interest in learning and learning outcomes in vibration, wave and sound material for class VIII SMP.
