Pemberian berbagai Kombinasi Pupuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan kandungan Minyak Atsiri Tanaman Nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth)
The wastes of Nilam plant distillation have a hara content that was high
and potential as a good raw material of organic fertilizer. A quick and efficient
composing technology will produce high quality organic compost. The giving of
organic and inorganic is expected can improve the efficiency of hara exploitation
by plant and reduce the giving of inorganic fertilizer to the Nilam plant.
This research is purposed to know the effect of organic and inorganic
fertilizer combination to the growth of Nilam plant. This research is executed in
Attempt Garden of Agriculture and Breeding Faculty of State Islam University of
Sultan Qasim Riau (Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan SyarifQasim Riau) as long as
3 months from July until October 1009.
The research method that used is Group Random Design (GRD) with one
factor and 3 repetitions from 8 treatments. The amount of the plant is 72 Nilam
plants. The cultivation is conducted on polybag. The treatments were A = 20 g
Urea + 10 g TSP + 10 g KCl/polybag, B = 100 g Nilam waste/polybag, C = 100 g
fertilizer of cow/polybag, D = 10 g Urea + 5 g TSP + 5 g KCl + 4 g
Kieserit/polybag, E = 10 g Urea + 5 g TSP + 5 g KCl + 50 g compost of Nilam
waste/polybag, F = 10 g Urea + 5 g TSP + 5 g KCl + 50 g fertilizer of
cow/polybag, G = 10 g Urea + 5 g TSP + 5 g KCl + 50 g Nilam waste + 2 g
Kieserit/polybag, H = 10 g Urea + 5 g TSP + 5 g KCl + 50 g fertilizer of cow + 2
g Kieserit/polybag. The parameters that observed are the height of plant, the
amount of secondary branch, the amount of leaves, the analysis of Nilamatsiri
(volatile)(volatile)(volatile)oil, and the analysis of C/N Nilam waste compost and
fertilizer of cow.
According to the research result obtained a conclusion that the giving of
organic and inorganic fertilizer combination at the treatment G (10 g Urea + 5 g
TSP + 5 g KCl + 50 g Nilam waste + 2 g Kieserit) shows a better result than other
treatments.
