Pengaruh Tayangan John Pantau televisi Transpormasi Indonesia (TransTV) Terhadap Sikap Kesadaran Hukum (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum Universitas Riau)

Since mid 2008, Indonesia's television broadcast programs enriched with a little different from what has gone before. Some of these programs reveals the reality of life and serve a variety of legal violations that occur in society, one of which is the impression John Pantau in TranTVs. This study aimed to investigate the influence of impressions John Pantaur in TransTV attitude towards the legal consciousness of law students of Islamic University of Riau. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative data collection using questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation. To determine the influence of John Pantau in TransTV impressions of student attitudes legal awareness of the Faculty of Law, Islamic University of Riau, the author uses simple linear regression analysis. X variable in this study were impressions Impressions John Pantaur in TranTVs, while the variable Y is the attitude of Student Legal Awareness. The number of sample as many as 150 people, researchers used a quota sampling technique to determine the sample in this study. The test data processing is done by using questionnaires Statistics Program Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Windows version 16.0. The results of this study showed a significant influence between impressions John Pantau in TransTV attitude towards law students the legal consciousness of the Islamic University of Riau. This is based on data analysis using simple linear regression the regression coefficient obtained in this study was Y = 15.48 + 0.19 X 2.77 with t count is bigger than t tables 1.97 with a significance 0.006 level smaller than the α = 0.05. Factors that influence the attitude of the legal consciousness of law students is the mass media that provide information and knowledge which in turn can shape perceptions, factor of Education where they have realized that as a student should be able to be a good example for the community and this is due to environmental factors existence of rules that apply in the campus environment itself.
