Korelasi Antara Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Melalui Mind Map Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Hidrokarbon Di Kelas X Sma Negeri 4 Pekanbaru
Developing the creative thinking skills can help the success of students in learning process. Students that involves the creative thinking skills can see, connecting information and generate new ideas in the study of a subject, especially on the subject of hydrocarbon. Developing the creative thinking skills can be done by creating mind map. Mind map can also be used as a measure of the creative thinking skills. This research aimed to find out the correlation between creative thinking skills of mind map with student’s learning achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon at class X SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The research was conducted in Mei-Juni 2012. The sample is used only one class with thirty students. The data were collected by using creative thinking skills test and learning achievement test. The obtained data were analyzed by using product moment correlation. Based on the results of data processing, obtained robservation > rtable with the value 0,8387 > 0,361. It means that there is positive correlation between creative thinking skills of mind map with student’s learning achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon at class X SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. Correlation coefficient of 0,8387 indicates that there is a strong correlation between creative thinking skills of mind map with student’s learning achievement. Based on coefficient of determination, it is known that 70,33% of student’s learning achievement are determined by creative thinking skills.
