HIV/AIDS iscausedby Human ImmunodeficiencyVirus infection. This virusinfectsClusterofDifferentiation4(CD4)lymphocyte. Counting the numbers ofCD4isa waytoknow theimmunityof patientswith HIV/AIDS. The aimofthis studyis to describethe CD4 countin patients with HIV/AIDSinVCT clinicArifin Achmad General Hospitalof Riau Provinceduring January to December2013.Thiswas a descriptiveretrospective study. The data wasusedabout87medical recordsof HIV/AIDSpatients. The highestfrequencyof HIV/AIDSwas foundin the age group of30-39yearsold (42.53%) and the most frequent gender was male (64.37%). Based onthe occupation, themost frequentwas self-employed(52.87%). Based onthe riskfactormost of the infections was hetero sex (60.92%). Based onclinical stage, on stage I found 8 patients(9.2%), stage II30 patients(34.48%), stage III 40 patients(45.98%), andstage IV 9 patients(10.34%). CD4 cell countsof HIV/AID Spatients
