Uji Kemampuan Isolat Lokal Jamur Ligninolitik Dalam Mendegradasi Hidrokarbon Minyak Bumi
The purpose of this research is to test the ability of 14 indigenous fungi in Riau Province in degrading the hydrocarbon of petroleum. The isolates have been known to have ligninolytic activity. The fungi were tested for their ability to grow on Bushnell Haas agar supplemented with crude oil. Five isolates with the highest ligninolityc activities were culture in 50 ml of Bushnell Haas broth containing10 ml of crude oil for biodegradibility test. Then, the cultures were incubated for 25 days. The ability of isolate in degrading crude oil was defined using gravimetric analysis. The result of the growth test, showed that Trichoderma PNE4 had the largest diameter (8.16 cm). Biodegradability test showed that Penicillium PN6 had the highest ability to degrade the crude oil(89%), followed by Aspergillus sp.2 (82%), Aspergillus fumigatus KP (73%), Aspergillus fumigatus KK (69%), and Trichoderma PNE4 (20%).
