The purpose of this research is to find out how characteristic comparisons between mothers who work at plantations owned by PT. Mob Asian Agri and mother working in the people plantation, as well as to know the implementation function of family mother who worked at PT. Asian Agri and mother who worked at the plantation. This research using quantitative methods and analyzed are descriptive. The location of this research was conducted in the village of Mount Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict Sahilan kampar. The location of this research are taken to serve as the research material of the comparative roles of mothers working in pt. Mob Asian Agri 15 respondents and working mothers Plantation 8 respondents. The data will be analyzed quantitatively arranged.The results showed family socioeconomic conditions of mothers of people's peasant workers is higher than the peasants PT. Mob. Economic needs are met when they both worked as a laborer with the indicators satisfy the needs of everyday life, and also they can send her children.Implementation of family function of working mothers, especially in the fulfillment of the educational needs of the child is carried out by working as a laborer to augment the family income. Set aside income for purposes of child education. Accompany the child in the family, such as education to teach religious education, social norms, manners, and discipline for the children.
