Status Trofik Berdasarkan Trophic State Index Danau Maninjau Kecamatan Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Agam Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Many activities in Maninjau Lake contribute the input of organic and anorganic matter that affects the water quality, especially nutrient concentration in waters. A research aims to understand the trophic state of Maninjau Lake based on TSI has been conducted on January to February 2017. There were 4 stations, namely, Station 1 (bay area), Station 2 (inlet area), Station 3 (fish floating cages area) and Station 4 (outlet area). In each station there were 3 sampling points, in the surface (0.5 m), 2 secchi depth (1.2 m) and 4secchi depth (2.4 m). Sampling was done once/two weeks for 1.5 month period. Water quality parameter measured were total phosphorus, chlorophyll-a, transparancy, depth, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH. Results shown that the transparancy 45-78 cm, total phosphorus 0.109 – 0.287 mg/L, chlorophyll-a 18.34 – 62.01 μg/L, depth 16.4 m – 52.5 m, temperature 26.5 – 29.2 ºC, pH 6 – 8, dissolved oxygen 0.06 – 9.01 mg/L. Based on the TSI value, the Maninjau Lake was categorized as light eutrophic – heavy eutrophic.
