Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Minat Siswa Melanjutkan Pendidikan Tinggi Pada Sma Negeri 2 Tambang Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to determine the factors that affect the interests of students pursue higher education. The population in this study were students of Senior High School 2 On Tambang districts regency totaling 335 people. Selection of the sample is done by using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling some 185 people. Research analysis tools using the mean score analysis and multiple linear regression.
Results showed simultaneous motivations, aspirations, wishes, school and family environment together significant effect to interest in continuing education with sig 0.000 < 0.05. While partially showed that 1) significantly influence student motivation to continue interest in higher education with a degree of significance 0.000 > 0.05. 2) Ideals significant effect on the students' interest in higher education with a degree of significance 0.000 > 0.05. 3) The will significantly influence the students' interest in continuing education high degree of significance 0.001 < 0.05. 4) The school environment does not significantly influence interest in higher education with a degree of significance 0.389 > 0.05. 5) Family environment significantly influence interest in continuing education with the degree of significance 0.000 > α 0.05. In correlation of the influence of motivation, ambition, willingness, school and family environments 71.6% while the remaining 28.4% is influenced by other variables not included in this regression model.
