Prosedur Pengawasan Keimigrasian Terhadap Orang Asing Dengan Fasilitas Bebas Visa Kunjungan Wisata (Studi Kasus Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Padang)

This study aims to determine: (1) To know the procedures of immigration supervision on foreigners who are granted visa-free visa facility; (2) What are the obstacles faced in overseeing a foreigner who is granted a visa-free visa facility;
This research uses qualitative method with descriptive approach, the subject of research is the head of immigration office class I Padang, supervision and action of immigration office grade 1 padang, supervision supervision of immigration office grade 1 padang and one of the supervisory staff of immigration office grade 1 padang. Data collection conducted, that is by document study, observation, depth interview.
The results of the study show that, immigration control procedures against foreigners with visa-free tourist visit facility in accordance with government regulation number 31 of 1994 on foreign supervision and immigration action. The obstacle of immigration padang in overseeing foreigners with visa-free tourist visit is the working area of immigration office class 1 Padang wide enough, Which covers 11 districts and cities, Immigration management information system not yet functioning properly, there are still hotels and other accommodation places that have not registered foreigners who stay at their place, And there are still uncooperative community to immigration officers related to field monitoring conducted by padang immigration.
