Strategi Peningkatan Mutu Berbasis Standar Nasional Pendidikan (Studi Kasus Pada SMK Negeri 6 Pekanbaru)
This study aims to obtain an understanding of quality improvement
strategies based on National Education Standards at SMK Negeri 6
Pekanbaru. The research focus sub is consisted of the strategy of
achievement of standard of content, process standard, graduate
competency standard, educator standard and educational staff, facility and
infrastructure standard, management standard and assessment standard
at SMK Negeri 6 Pekanbaru. The data collection of this research is done
by interview, observation and documentation.
The research data showed that the strategy for the content
standard in SMK Negeri 6 Pekanbaru had fulfilled the standard can be
seen from the start of teacher training and workshop, the preparation of
learning tools and cooperate with DU/DI in curriculum synchronization.
Strategy to achieve process standard already fulfill standard done by way
of implementing process of learning more interactive, creative, innovative
and attractive and utilization of information technology as medium of
learning. The graduates' competency standard achievement strategy
meets the standards and is done by fostering the behavior of learners who
are faithful and devoted to God, improving the character and creative and
productive spirits. Achievement strategies of educators and educational
personnel standards have met these criteria from qualifications and
educator certificates, activities undertaken to improve pedagogical,
professional and social competence of teachers. The strategy of achieving
the standard of facilities and infrastructures in complete and fulfilling this
criterion is seen from preparing an annual program on procurement and
maintenance of facilities and infrastructure and programs to meet the
needs of supporting books and student practice tools. Strategy of
achievement of standard of management has been run in accordance with
the standard start to compile and revise the vision, mission, and purpose
of school, have complete document in managing school, utilization of
educator and educational staff in accordance with the competence and
always do audit in school management. The assessment achievement
standard strategy has met the standards seen from the effort in improving
teacher competence in the appraisal process, teacher follow-up plan in the
assessment process and assessment of student competence test.
