Pengaruh Jumlah Uang Beredar (M1), Inflasi, Dan Neraca Pembayaran Terhadap Nilai Tukar Rupiah Atas Dollar Amerika Serikat Di Indonesia Periode Tahun 2000-2018

The research aims to determine how much influence money supply (M1), inflation, balance of payments, and influence of the global economic crisis in 2008 on rupiah exchange rate againts US dollar in Indonesia for the period 2000-2018. The research use independent variable is money supply (M1), inflation, balance of payments, and crisis dummy, and dependent variable is Rupiah exchange rate against US Dollar.
The data used in this research is annual data from 2000-2018. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative and analyzed partially or simultaneously with multiple linear regression OLS (Ordinary Least Square) processed by using E-Views 10.
The result shows that, money supply (M1), inflation, and balance of payments has a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate against US Dollar simultaneously, and dummy global economic crisis in 2008 did not significantly influence the exchange rate of the rupiah against the US dollar. Meanwhile, the money supply (M1) and inflation has a significant positive effect on the rupiah exchange rate against US Dollar and balance of payments has a significant negative effect on the rupiah exchange rate against US Dollar, while the dummy of the global economic crisis in 2008 had a positive and not significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate against US dollar. In addition, it was found the value of adjusted R2 is 91,27%.
