Uji Spesifikasi Tipe Hidrokarbon Dalam Produk Avtur Pt. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit Ii Dumai

ABSTRACT
Quality of aviation fuel products manufactured by PT. Pertamina (Persero) RU II
Dumai must be in accordance with international standards refer to Specification
DEFSTAND 91-91/ISSUE 7 ( DERD 2494 ) and aviation fuel specifications in
Indonesia organized by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas regulations.
Research aims to identify the quality of aviation fuel and apply knowledge in
lectures the author get into the world of working. Samples were taken from the
tank T-17 and tank T-18 PT. Pertamina (Persero) RU II Dumai. The method used
in this Research refers to the test method ASTM (American Standards for Testing
and Materials) that is Hydrocarbon type test method (ASTM D 1319) and
Naphtalene test method (ASTM D 1840). The results showed that the % volume
of Aromatic for sample T-17 was 12.1%, and for sample T-18 was 12.1%. the %
volume of olefin for sample T-17 was 1.0% and for sample T-18 was 1.0%.
Naphtalene results based on % weight for sample T-17 was 0.562%, while for the
sample T-18 was 0.561% and the results of Naphtalene based on % volume for
sample T-17 was 0.447%, while for the sample T-18 was 0.446%. The results
refers to the Specification DEFSTAND 91-91/ISSUE 7 ( DERD 2494 ) and
specifications provided by the Director General of Oil and Gas, it was concluded,
that the Aviation fuel products produced by PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai based
test specification hydrocarbon in accordance with the specifications.
