Faktor - Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Fertilitas Di Indonesia
Demographic transition refers to a state of decreasing birth and death rates and followed by a reduction in population growth. These demographic changes are caused by demographic factors (birth, death and migration and non-demographic factors (social and economic). Fertility is an important factor in controlling population which refers to demographic transition. With controlled fertility, it is hoped that it can solve population problems.
Indonesia is one of the 10 countries with the 4th largest population and it is intended to have the highest fertility rate. This study aims to determine the effect of women's education, women's participation in the labor market, income and mortality on fertility in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data in Indonesia in 2005 - 2018. With the independent variables, namely women's education, women's participation in the labor market, income and mortality rates. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the error correction model (ECM) analysis technique.
Based on the results of research conducted, namely women's education, women's participation in the labor market, income and mortality rates together have a significant effect on fertility in Indonesia. And partially, namely women's education, income and mortality rates have a significant effect on fertility in Indonesia in the long term, while in the short term partially women's education has a significant effect on fertility in Indonesia. This shows that in controlling fertility, these factors need to be included in fertility control in Indonesia
Key words : Live Birth (Fertility), women's education, women's participation in the labor market, income and mortality rates
