Strategi Pengelolaan Usaha Hasil Perikanan Di Kelurahan Teluk Kabung Utara Provinsi Sumatera Barat

At present, most of the fish processing is traditionally managed, this is because modern processing requires difficult requirements to be met by small industries, including the quality of high-quality raw materials, quality of packaging and technology in its management. To participate in the competition, this small-scale fish processing industry requires capital assistance and sustainable guidance so that it can produce processed fish industry products that are economically profitable, from a technical point of view can be implemented, and from an ecological perspective that is acceptable to the community. In accordance with Presidential Instruction No. 7 of 2016 concerning the acceleration of the development of the national fisheries industry, that in order to accelerate the development of the national fisheries industry in order to improve the welfare of the community, both fishermen, cultivators, processors and marketers of fishery products, increase employment and increase foreign exchange, the President of the Republic of Indonesia mandates the Regent / Mayor to support the procurement of land for the national fishing industry in the regions.
There are 5 fishery product businesses in Teluk Kabung Utara Village, which are owned by people who live in Teluk Kabung Utara Village and have workers who are also people who live in Teluk Kabung Utara Village, West Sumatra. And the average fishery product business is a business that has passed down from families with a micro scale.
This research will be conducted from December 2020 to January 2021. Teluk Kabung Utara Village is one of six Kelurahan in the Bungus Teluk Kabung District, the livelihoods of the people in Teluk Kabung Utara Village are dominated by fishermen. Teluk Kabung Utara Village is one of the coastal areas in the Bungus Teluk Kabung Subdistrict, Padang City, which has quite a large fishery potential. There are 5 fishery product business groups located in Teluk Kabung Utara Village, 3 of which are still not legally registered due to procedures and costs, while 2 are legally registered. From the results of the research conducted, it is found that the factors that affect the fishery product business in Teluk Kabung Utara Village and get the results have relatively high strengths so that they can cover the existing weaknesses (2.73: 0.20) and also the opportunities that exist in the business results. fisheries that are classified as high so that they can cover the existing threats (2.20: 0.23). The strategy obtained in the management of fishery products business in Teluk Kabung Utara Village in

the future requires cooperation between business owners / business actors regarding the assistance that will be provided by the government, so that in this case the assistance provided by the government can be useful and support in the fishery product business.
It is necessary to carry out further research on the management of fishery products in Teluk Kabung Utara Village by taking into account the quality and standards of the existing products by conducting research in the laboratory. In order to achieve the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), so that it can be more competitive in the market. It is necessary to carry out further research on the population of fish found at the fishing location carried out by business actors / business owners that can increase the yield of raw materials so that they can meet high demand.
